QEP Faculty Surveys 

Dear GSU Faculty Members:

We are currently working on developing the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) for GSU as required for SACS Reaffirmation to accreditation. We thank you for providing the opportunity to present the status of the QEP during the faculty meeting on December 16, 2008. As discussed in the seminar, the participation of all constituents including the faculty is extremely important in the development and implementation of the QEP. In this regard, as also indicated during the seminar, we are enclosing herewith two surveys for your input and for carrying out further work on the QEP. The first survey is composed of two parts: Part-A is to assess the general familiarity with the QEP process and Part-B is to know about the broader areas of mathematics such as Algebra, Statistics etc. which you may require in teaching your courses. The second survey is more specific about the mathematical concepts which your students might need in the courses you teach. We thought that it will be more convenient for all of us if these surveys are filled and collected electronically. Therefore, please submit both these surveys online by Friday, January 30, 2009. As a reminder, we will join you during your departmental meetings to talk about these surveys and answer any questions you might have about the QEP.
